The new 3.0 firmware for the iPhone has bought 100’s of new features to the iPhone, and one such feature is Spotlight search. For all those who don’t know what spotlight search feature is, it is a method to search any kind of content on your phone be it mails, apps (cydia as well as appstore), notes, contacts etc. This helps you save your time searching for apps as there are 11 pages for apps. Spotlight search is before the first home screen page so you need to swipe from left to right to access it.
Spot Bright adds a few features to the spotlight feature. Spot Bright is not an app, its a utility which adds two basic features to spotlight search. It allows you to search for hidden apps (hidden by poof) and also saves the recent application you have visited (6 apps). This makes easier for you to go applications you use often.
All in all its a terrific addon to the spotlight search feature and is a must have. The developer is expected to add some more notable features in the next update.
